Скоро мы увидим результат перестройки, запланированной для бывшего аэропорта Берлин-Тегель. Проект стоимостью 7,9 млрд долларов будет включать в себя жилой умный мегаполис примерно с 5000 домов, университетский городок и инновационный центр для бизнеса. Работа кипит по полной, конец виден в конце 2030х годов.
В аэропорту Тегель на окраине Берлина, Германия, трудяги все еще находят заряды. Остатки прусской армии и двух мировых войн еще можно найти на территории почти 500 га, который стал домом для главного аэропорта города в 1970-х годах, прежде чем он потерял популярность и закрылся в 2020 году. После постройки аэропорта, земля использовалась для взлетно-посадочных полос. И около трех метров с каждой стороны были расчищены, а другие участки остались. С мая 2021 года более 10 тонн взрывчатых веществ и боеприпасов были перемещены или благополучно взорваны с 20 гектаров.
Но, в отличие от антикварных артиллерийских орудий, Тегель не будет долго бездействовать. Потому что его громадный бруталистский терминал, лабиринтные проходы — вышка связи — заимели новое предназначение. Из-за многолетних вкладов в размере 8 миллиардов евро он стремится к тому, чтобы назваться самым перспективным городом в Европе.
Проект, получивший название Berlin TXL, был разработан как экологически безопасное сообщество, полное устойчивых технологий, со своим Университетом и лабораториями и безнец центрами. Его называют следующим витком эволюции годской жизни.
Ответственный за строительство Tegel Projekt, построенный по заказу фед. зем. Берлин и создающийся на государственной земле, сотрудничает с государственным сектором, частниками и инвесторами в квартале Шумахера, пешей зрне, насчитывающей около 5000 домов, и в The Urban Tech Republic, районе для 5000 студентов и до 1000 компаний.
