RAWALPINDI:The Punjab government has thrashed out a new initiative to strengthen environmental governance and promote green investment in the province.The initiative called ldquo Punjab Green Development Programme rdquo will be launched with the he blue sambas (https://www.adidassamba.us) lp of the World Bank, which will contribute a major chunk of the $273 million project. The World Bank will contribute $200 million and the Punjab government $73 million, sources said.The project aims to ensure a green and pollution-free Punjab.
