Three men threw acid on a woman, injuring two others in the process, after she turned down a marriage proposal in Gujrat s Dang district on Thursday. The women, students at the University of Gujrat, were waiting at a bus stop when the incident took place. One of the victims identified the three men as her uncle Abdul Qadeer, his son and his friend Hussam Owais. After recording the girl s statement, police took Owais into custody.
