We've all been there — You have a client who wants to run on a string you don't know about. You do what we all do and start digging to learn the ins and outs as best you can. There's a LOT to consider with all the different paid social engines, creative platforms and reporting tools, so here's a quick overview of where you can start.1) Objectives and Mississippi down with your client and establish your main objectives and KPIs. This really should be the foundation of everything you do going forward, from audience to channel to messaging. First you need to establish your goals and KPIs. Be as specific as possible!Examples of objectives:"I need to generate 500 event registrations Egypt Phone Numbers List  for my upcoming Auto Show over the next six weeks."Blog traffic has dropped and I need to get 5,000 net new visitors to our blog page by the end of the year.""Boot sales have been flat for the past few months and we need to generate an additional  in boot sales in the fourth quarter."2) Determine your budgetThis isn't the fun part, but it's important to be realistic. If you only have a test budget of $5,000, this will impact the steps later in this list, as you will need to reduce the number of audiences or channels in your marketing plan. You can use your KPIs to help you determine the budget.Example customer:Joan Smith needs to earn 500 new gym signups, but each signup can't cost her company more than $90 to get positive feedback.
