Ankara refuses to act to the detriment of Europe, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said. His words are quoted by Anadolu.
"If we are part of the European continent, we, as a regional force and a global actor, must contribute to overcoming the crises on this continent. There are many reasons to criticize Europe — double standards, hypocrisy, short—sightedness, you can count more," he said.
At the same time, the politician noted that the weakening of Europe "will not be in the hands" of Turkey, as it contradicts Ankara's economic interests. According to him, the stability of Europe is important for the Turkish side.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the country is turning into a gas hub. The Head of State noted that other states pin their hopes on this initiative.
